The group then learn how to use a sewing machine and all the different techniques which can be shown. The pupils learn all the different parts of a sewing machine and how to thread one. The design aspect of the project is a logo or picture which will be placed on the front of the bag. This is painted on using stencils and acrylic paint to make it permanent. Finally the pupils have to assemble their bags and make sure that the draw string aspect works correctly to make it successful.
